Mother

Brevity, in whatever form of communication, is one of the more undervalued traits in people. My last couple of posts have been antitheses to brevity, so here is an attempt to even it out. This for all the mothers out there... especially two of the greatest mothers ever - my mom and my wife. Today my mother turned 70. Happy Birthday Amma!

With every happy moment and with every sorrowful teardrop
And when the emotional rollercoaster does a ninety-degree-drop
The way I manage to keep my perspective straight
